The corner led to Sobrecastell UD's Rodrigo Abancens getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Sobrecastell UD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alfa FC the free kick. After 21 played minutes Sobrecastell UD got a freekick which was hit by Joseba Sacristán. In the 23rd match minute, Alfa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Glauco Passos to maneuver through the defense. The corner led Sobrecastell UD's Joseba Sacristán to fire away a dangerous shot which Gerald Buffon despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 30th match minute, Sobrecastell UD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tolino Albizua to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Sobrecastell UD getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Joseba Sacristán hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dráuzio Ramos in the 38th minute of play forced Sobrecastell UD's goalkeeper Cidro Galnares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cidro Galnares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gil Valerón in the 41st minute of the match. Cidro Galnares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rubinho Aparecido in the 59th minute of the match. Gerald Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Abancens in the 62nd minute of play. Sobrecastell UD's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Maurino Rosario in the 68th minute. Gerald Buffon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tolino Albizua went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Cidro Galnares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rubinho Aparecido, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 74th minute Rodrigo Abancens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerald Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Alfa FC booed when Sobrecastell UD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leandro Jaraba didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gil Valeróns short, quick shot in the 87thth minute got Cidro Galnares to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Sobrecastell UD succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Alfa FC had controlled the match.
