After 40 played minutes Szimbas Lejonflock got a freekick which was hit by Per-Olof Vallander. In the 42nd minute, Dimitri Diependaele had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Beek City's Salvador Rosalio was substituted for Dimitri Diependaele. Alexander Del Piero hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Ni Jun Sha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundson Colling in the 44th minute of play. After the first half Beek City were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marciano Hendrickx made a kick off. Beek City's Rodriguinho de Castro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Andersson in the 52nd minute of play. Rodriguinho de Castro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Askelöf in the 58th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Askelöf in the 61st minute of play forced Beek City's goalkeeper Rodriguinho de Castro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute, Anton Liebrechts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Szimbas Lejonflock booed when Beek City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stanislaw Rekowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Beek City players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
