Emanuel Ogășanu was extremely unlucky when he, in the 26th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Andrei Pavel made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Ludwig Hanstein sent off a good shot on target. Andrei Pavel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ludwig Hanstein in the 32nd minute. Andrei Pavel didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Sydney FC's Emanuel Ogășanu shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-0 in the ordered_time% minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gică Curcă to strike the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Sydney FC's Önder Cebi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andrei Pavel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Ogășanu in the 72nd minute of play forced FC Fanaticii's goalkeeper Andrei Pavel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 74 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Emanuel Ogășanu sped through FC Fanaticii's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Andrei Pavel. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Ogășanu in the 77th minute of play forced FC Fanaticii's goalkeeper Andrei Pavel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andrei Pavel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emanuel Ogășanu went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. Emanuel Ogășanu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andrei Pavel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. FC Fanaticii's Andrei Pavel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Önder Cebi in the 85th minute of play. Moise Corduneanu hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 89 minutes, the score became 9-0 when Emanuel Ogășanu sped through FC Fanaticii's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Andrei Pavel. Andrei Pavel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bjarne Nievelstein in the 92nd minute of play. Andrei Pavel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Allan Björk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Bjarne Nievelstein had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 98thth minute of the game Emanuel Ogășanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Fanaticii's Andrei Pavel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Sydney FC had played much better football throughout.
