With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elmar Lexbo in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ziemowit Harasimowicz saved Les Pionniers de Touraine from getting behind. In the 5th minute of the match Holmkjar Hotspurs got a corner. Les Pionniers de Touraine's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Elmar Lexbo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Tristan Nordlet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abraham Beauval, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Les Pionniers de Touraine's Abraham Beauval slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tristan Nordlet. That made the score 1-0 after 21 minutes of play. Loke Skaanild scored 1-1 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ziemowit Harasimowicz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raphaël Lallemand in the 28th minute of play forced Holmkjar Hotspurs's goalkeeper Tristan Nordlet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd match minute, Les Pionniers de Touraine was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gyuro Tzonkin to maneuver through the defense. Holmkjar Hotspurs's Tristan Nordlet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raphaël Lallemand in the 39th minute of play. In the 43rd minute Elmar Lexbo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ziemowit Harasimowicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cuauhtémoc Cardenas kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The wind increased when Abraham Beauval made the kick off in the second half. Ziemowit Harasimowicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elmar Lexbo in the 54th minute of play. Tristan Nordlet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abraham Beauval in the 56th minute of play. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Holmkjar Hotspurs's goalkeeper Tristan Nordlet, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tristan Nordlet came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Les Pionniers de Touraine's Raphaël Lallemand. But to his dismay, Raphaël Lallemand quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. With 67 minutes on the clock, Cuauhtémoc Cardenas commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Holmkjar Hotspurs's Magnus Steinwart was substituted for Bent Streyder. Les Pionniers de Touraine's Patryk Kopacz was substituted for Désiré Alberto. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 66th minute of the game. One of Les Pionniers de Touraine:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Holmkjar Hotspurs:s goal. Ziemowit Harasimowicz had in the 70thth minute some difficulties stopping Elmar Lexbo's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Les Pionniers de Touraine's Abraham Beauval sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tristan Nordlet narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Patryk Kopacz kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute Abraham Beauval shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tristan Nordlet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Les Pionniers de Touraine were awarded a corner in the 87th minute after Holmkjar Hotspurs's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gyuro Tzonkin took the corner. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gyuro Tzonkin during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 90th minute, Gyuro Tzonkin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Les Pionniers de Touraine booed when Holmkjar Hotspurs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kurd Frydenholt didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Les Pionniers de Touraine fans cheered their team off the field, for while Holmkjar Hotspurs had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
