Primitivo Grau took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iason Kazantzidis. Iason Kazantzidis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When Bozkurt's Kai Havertz in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Primitivo Grau got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Iason Kazantzidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zhao Sen Yang in the 13th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zhao Sen Yang in the 23rd minute of play forced Bozkurt's goalkeeper Iason Kazantzidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zhao Sen Yang in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iason Kazantzidis saved Bozkurt from getting behind. 30 minutes into the game, Zhao Sen Yang cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Iason Kazantzidis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Zhao Sen Yang in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kai Havertz got free with Diki Doro in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kai Havertz was the one to do the kick off. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
