After having played for 6 minutes, Tim Hjortberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Houston FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tim Hjortberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wojciech Ptaszek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carl Deaconsfield, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 10th minute of the match Carl Deaconsfield sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wojciech Ptaszek skillfully saved the ball. Wojciech Ptaszek came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by T H F C's Ronan Sugden. But to his dismay, Ronan Sugden quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Carl Deaconsfield recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Houston FF's Ove Biörling got a free kick in the 30th minute. After a rather tough play, T H F C's Sebastien Conway got a free kick in the 32nd minute. 38 minutes into the match, Houston FF's goalkeeper Wojciech Ptaszek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Franz Midgley. In the 40thth minute of the game Franz Midgley who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Houston FF's Wojciech Ptaszek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Franz Midgley notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Houston FF's Wojciech Ptaszek. Wojciech Ptaszek was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Wojciech Ptaszek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matt Friend in the 46th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Min Muller was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Franz Midgley left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The T H F C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Wojciech Ptaszek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carl Deaconsfield, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wojciech Ptaszek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matt Friend in the 58th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matt Friend in the 58th minute of play forced Houston FF's goalkeeper Wojciech Ptaszek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carl Deaconsfield took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wojciech Ptaszek. Sven-Arne Kämpe hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Houston FF's Wojciech Ptaszek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franz Midgley in the 78th minute of play. In the 85th minute of the match Remigiusz Cuber sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bladi Fuster skillfully saved the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Samuel Shakespeare in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wojciech Ptaszek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 94 minutes into the game, Samuel Shakespeare cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Wojciech Ptaszek was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
