The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Herbert Banaszak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Axell Verduin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Barnaba Pilsudski got free with Generoso Gaxan in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Generoso Gaxan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barnaba Pilsudski in the 12th minute of play. 13 minutes into the game, Barnaba Pilsudski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Generoso Gaxan. Barnaba Pilsudski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Generoso Gaxan made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Barnaba Pilsudski sent off a good shot on target. In the 19th minute Herbert Banaszak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Axell Verduin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Ireland 1921's goalkeeper Generoso Gaxan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Axell Verduin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Bilbo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Barnaba Pilsudski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Generoso Gaxan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barnaba Pilsudski in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th minute Boguslaw Kaider shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Axell Verduin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Axell Verduin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Bilbo in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st play minute Barnaba Pilsudski came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Generoso Gaxan. 3-0. Axell Verduin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boguslaw Kaider, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes into the game, Patricio Roderigo threw the ball into play from the sideline. FC Gullegem's Jonathan Vrijdag quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Barnaba Pilsudski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Generoso Gaxan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ireland 1921's Leonel Criston got a free kick in the 38th minute. 39 minutes into the match, FC Gullegem's Barnaba Pilsudski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Generoso Gaxan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. FC Gullegem were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Ireland 1921's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ion Giurgiu took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barnaba Pilsudski in the 42nd minute of play forced Ireland 1921's goalkeeper Generoso Gaxan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patricio Roderigo kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Barnaba Pilsudski to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes of play, FC Gullegem's Barnaba Pilsudski made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Generoso Gaxan was left in no man's land by his defense there! 56 minutes in the game Patricio Roderigo did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Leonel Criston. FC Gullegem's Axell Verduin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herbert Banaszak in the 59th minute of play. After some careless play in the Ireland 1921 defense, Barnaba Pilsudski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Generoso Gaxan. The Ireland 1921 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Generoso Gaxan should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonel Criston got free with Axell Verduin in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Barnaba Pilsudski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Generoso Gaxan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. After 71 minutes of play, FC Gullegem's Barnaba Pilsudski made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Generoso Gaxan was left in no man's land by his defense there! 80 minutes into the match, Pieter Teurfs had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Generoso Gaxan. Ireland 1921's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pieter Teurfs was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. 82 minutes into the match, Ireland 1921's goal looked a bit too open when Barnaba Pilsudski came free, but Generoso Gaxan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Gullegem's Jonathan Vrijdag managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Patricio Roderigo in the 84 minute of the game. Axell Verduin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonel Criston in the 87th minute of the match. Generoso Gaxan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barnaba Pilsudski in the 90th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Barnaba Pilsudski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Generoso Gaxan was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. FC Gullegem's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
