Kyle Thake started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Vinará FC's zone, Kyle Thake stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Konrāds Rabkins came out of the goal and Kyle Thake tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vinará FC's Konrāds Rabkins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kyle Thake in the 13th minute of play. Konrāds Rabkins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vihren Sirenyakov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Santos Lauaxeta got free with Mats Sangolt in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Konrāds Rabkins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giorgio Caruana, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Floriana Celtics's zone, Santos Lauaxeta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mats Sangolt came out of the goal and Santos Lauaxeta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Konrāds Rabkins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vihren Sirenyakov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Vinará FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Filiberto Franco hit a great ball. Konrāds Rabkins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giorgio Caruana in the 32nd minute of the match. If Kyle Thake had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 38 minutes into the match, Vihren Sirenyakov notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Vinará FC's Konrāds Rabkins. Konrāds Rabkins was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 41 played minutes Vinará FC got a freekick which was hit by Filiberto Franco. After having played for 42 minutes, Godwin Montesin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Floriana Celtics's supporters crossed their fingers, but Godwin Montesin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 44th minute Vihren Sirenyakov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Konrāds Rabkins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zacarias Herena during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Zacarias Herena hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Konrāds Rabkins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giorgio Caruana, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute.

52 minutes into the match, Vinará FC's goalkeeper Konrāds Rabkins had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Giorgio Caruana. Konrāds Rabkins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godwin Montesin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 58 minutes into the match, Vinará FC's goal looked a bit too open when Godwin Montesin came free, but Konrāds Rabkins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Floriana Celtics's Matt Sciortino was substituted for Tony De Marco. Floriana Celtics's Miguel Piscopo was substituted for Giorgio Caruana. The supporters of Floriana Celtics booed when Vinará FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filiberto Franco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Miguel Piscopo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Konrāds Rabkins made a huge save. The supporters of Floriana Celtics booed when Vinará FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Kismi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Miguel Piscopo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Konrāds Rabkins made a huge save. Miguel Piscopo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Konrāds Rabkins came out and tried to block the shot, but Miguel Piscopo slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 71st minute. Konrāds Rabkins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kyle Thake in the 79th minute of the match. Konrāds Rabkins came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Floriana Celtics's Vihren Sirenyakov. But to his dismay, Vihren Sirenyakov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Konrāds Rabkins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kyle Thake in the 83rd minute of the match. Zacarias Herena hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. 86 minutes into the match, Vinará FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kyle Thake came free, but Konrāds Rabkins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kyle Thake spun around in front of the goal 86 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Vinará FC's goal. After 89 minutes of play, Floriana Celtics's Miguel Piscopo made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Konrāds Rabkins was left in no man's land by his defense there! Konrāds Rabkins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matt Carabott, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Floriana Celtics's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
