Neal Wakefield made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Deilmison van Basten in the 25th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, ATHLETICO PRaiano's Deilmison van Basten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Neal Wakefield narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 31st minute Deilmison van Basten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Neal Wakefield saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When DaLian MyLord FC's Flavio Profeta in 33 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Rodriguinho Sousa guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Deilmison van Basten might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Neal Wakefield. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Deilmison van Basten ran back to his position shaking his head. Neal Wakefield showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Deilmison van Basten, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Heitor Maldini during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of DaLian MyLord FC booed when ATHLETICO PRaiano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Heitor Maldini didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in ATHLETICO PRaiano's zone, Flavio Profeta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodriguinho Sousa came out of the goal and Flavio Profeta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

ATHLETICO PRaiano's Rodriguinho Sousa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victoriano Gaztea in the 53rd minute of play. 54 minutes into the game, Deilmison van Basten recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Neal Wakefield. Deilmison van Basten showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Deilmison van Basten scored 0-3 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Neal Wakefield, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rodriguinho Sousa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavio Profeta, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 62nd minute, 孔扬翔 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ATHLETICO PRaiano's Rodriguinho Sousa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavio Profeta in the 69th minute of play. In the 78thth minute of the game 孔扬翔 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ATHLETICO PRaiano's Rodriguinho Sousa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. DaLian MyLord FC were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after ATHLETICO PRaiano's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Flavio Profeta took the corner. In the 80th minute Deilmison van Basten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Neal Wakefield saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Neal Wakefield showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Deilmison van Basten, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Neal Wakefield took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Deilmison van Basten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paolo-César Maldini in the 90th minute of play forced ATHLETICO PRaiano's goalkeeper Rodriguinho Sousa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
