After 6 minutes of play, Botev Plovdiv 1912's Di Kun made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Doğaner Taymaz was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as Botev Plovdiv 1912's Remy Uytdebroeck slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Doğaner Taymaz. That made the score 2-0 after 11 minutes of play. Doğaner Taymaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alf Hansson in the 15th minute of play. After some careless play in the Ziyapaşa SK defense, Alf Hansson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Doğaner Taymaz. The Ziyapaşa SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Doğaner Taymaz should have stopped the shot. In the 18th match minute, Ziyapaşa SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Şentürk Ulumeriç to maneuver through the defense. Natanael Guedes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doğaner Taymaz having to interfere. Şentürk Ulumeriç's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joacim Dromph read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. After 22 minutes Botev Plovdiv 1912's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mehmet Ali Işılay who took care of the corner kick. 25 minutes into the match, Ziyapaşa SK's goal looked a bit too open when Di Kun came free, but Doğaner Taymaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Di Kun had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Doğaner Taymaz. Ziyapaşa SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Di Kun was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Şentürk Ulumeriç in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joacim Dromph saved Botev Plovdiv 1912 from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Şentürk Ulumeriç put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Joacim Dromph. A hard shot 36 in the game by Alf Hansson from a close distance when the talented Doğaner Taymaz managed to make a qualified save. Ziyapaşa SK's players were relieved. Ziyapaşa SK were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after Botev Plovdiv 1912's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mehmet Ali Işılay took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remy Uytdebroeck in the 40th minute of play forced Ziyapaşa SK's goalkeeper Doğaner Taymaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Doğaner Taymaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Di Kun in the 41st minute of play. Ziyapaşa SK's Doğaner Taymaz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Ziyapaşa SK from getting a goal against them.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alf Hansson made a kick off. After 54 played minutes Ziyapaşa SK got a freekick which was hit by Arif Egemen Kıvılcım. In the 54th minute of the match Remy Uytdebroeck shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Doğaner Taymaz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Di Kun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Remy Uytdebroeck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Botev Plovdiv 1912's supporters rose to their feet, but Remy Uytdebroeck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Doğaner Taymaz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Alf Hansson put it in 6-1 from a short distance just to the right of Doğaner Taymaz. Doğaner Taymaz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alf Hansson's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remy Uytdebroeck in the 69th minute of play forced Ziyapaşa SK's goalkeeper Doğaner Taymaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Botev Plovdiv 1912's Evtim Stanov was substituted for Di Kun. The supporters of Ziyapaşa SK booed when Botev Plovdiv 1912 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alf Hansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After taking down the ball on Botev Plovdiv 1912's corner Remy Uytdebroeck fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Doğaner Taymaz quite easily take care of the ball. Şentürk Ulumeriç might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joacim Dromph. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Şentürk Ulumeriç ran back to his position shaking his head. Remy Uytdebroeck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ziyapaşa SK's Doğaner Taymaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alf Hansson in the 89th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Botev Plovdiv 1912's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Şentürk Ulumeriç fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. A throw-in in the 93rd minute of the game was made by Stefan Ludwiczak with Bogdan Gornishki as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Doğaner Taymaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evtim Stanov, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Botev Plovdiv 1912 had played much better football throughout.
