Erivaldo Maia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vykan Víkingsson having to interfere. Guadalupe FC's Luís Eduardo Garcia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Guadalupe FC from getting a goal against them. In the 18thth minute of the game José de Queirós who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Asingratitos FC's Vykan Víkingsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling José de Queirós in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vykan Víkingsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vykan Víkingsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José de Queirós, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. When Yoachim Kerkhofs fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Asingratitos FC's protests and gave Yoachim Kerkhofs a yellow card for diving instead. If José de Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Asingratitos FC booed when Guadalupe FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. After 34 minutes of play, Guadalupe FC's Hílton Pernambucano made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. In the 48th minute, Erivaldo Maia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Asingratitos FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Guadalupe FC were winning 0-2.

With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vykan Víkingsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Guadalupe FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Kanu Grosso hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Guadalupe FC's zone, Rolf Huveneers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Eduardo Garcia came out of the goal and Rolf Huveneers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 59th minute of the match Guadalupe FC got a corner. Asingratitos FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hílton Pernambucano ran over to the corner to take the kick. 61 minutes into the match, Asingratitos FC's goalkeeper Vykan Víkingsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by José de Queirós. José de Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vykan Víkingsson having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by José de Queirós in the 64th minute of play forced Asingratitos FC's goalkeeper Vykan Víkingsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 65 minutes Asingratitos FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hílton Pernambucano who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Hílton Pernambucano almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Asingratitos FC's Vykan Víkingsson did a great save. 66 minutes into the game, José de Queirós recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vykan Víkingsson. José de Queirós showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Vykan Víkingsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hílton Pernambucano in the 71st minute of the match. Hílton Pernambucano might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vykan Víkingsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hílton Pernambucano ran back to his position shaking his head. A hard shot 77 in the game by José de Queirós from a close distance when the talented Vykan Víkingsson managed to make a qualified save. Asingratitos FC's players were relieved. With his leg Vykan Víkingsson managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when Guadalupe FC's José de Queirós fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 83rd minute, Gerson Dionísio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. José de Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Asingratitos FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Rolf Huveneers hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when José de Queirós got free with Vykan Víkingsson in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Danny Emeleers hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Guadalupe FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hílton Pernambucano in the 98th minute. The Asingratitos FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Guadalupe FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Guadalupe FC.
