Haroldo Otoniel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bastiaan Carel having to interfere. Haroldo Otoniel might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bastiaan Carel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Haroldo Otoniel ran back to his position shaking his head. Bastiaan Carel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haroldo Otoniel, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Haroldo Otoniel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Bastiaan Carel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, C.A.Comodoro Rivadavia's goal looked a bit too open when Ralph Koopmans came free, but Nardo Zalaca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute, Haroldo Otoniel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.A.Comodoro Rivadavia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 36th minute, Blas Breogan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 46 minutes, Ralph Koopmans managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Heineken Youths's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ralph Koopmans was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ralph Koopmans to make the kick off. Ralph Koopmans's late challenge caught a C.A.Comodoro Rivadavia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ralph Koopmans helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Heineken Youths getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Ralph Koopmans hit a great ball. If Haroldo Otoniel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bastiaan Carel was a little too slow when Haroldo Otoniel got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 54th minute. The score was now 0-2. C.A.Comodoro Rivadavia's Nardo Zalaca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boukjan van Dongen in the 73rd minute of play. Bastiaan Carel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haroldo Otoniel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, C.A.Comodoro Rivadavia's Basilio Abel got a free kick in the 89th minute. Bastiaan Carel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haroldo Otoniel, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. When the match was over C.A.Comodoro Rivadavia could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Heineken Youths throughout the match.
