Leif Opdal stood somewhat misplaced when Jaramillo Amundarain came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 4 minute. Ole-Kristian Lekven made in the 11th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Jakob Lode however managed to control. With a little luck, Brufoss IL's Leif Opdal got control of the ball when Jaramillo Amundarain tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leif Opdal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jaramillo Amundarain in the 15th minute. After 17 minutes Brufoss IL's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Modesto Primo who took care of the corner kick. Folke Flinck kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Jaramillo Amundarain took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Leif Opdal to make any attempt to save it. Jaramillo Amundarain blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leif Opdal having to make a save. 31 minutes into the match, Brufoss IL's goalkeeper Leif Opdal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jaramillo Amundarain. In the 32nd match minute, Brufoss IL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ole-Kristian Lekven to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute, Sporting Angola's Jaramillo Amundarain ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Leif Opdal. Leif Opdal yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. In the 37th minute, Sporting Angola's Jaramillo Amundarain dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. Leif Opdal was a little too slow when Jaramillo Amundarain got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 5-0. Sporting Angola's Freddy Sein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by August Bergsland in the 47th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jaramillo Amundarain to strike the kick off in the second half. Jaramillo Amundarain might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leif Opdal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jaramillo Amundarain ran back to his position shaking his head. Leif Opdal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaramillo Amundarain in the 55th minute of the match. When Kai Østbye fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brufoss IL's protests and gave Kai Østbye a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Brufoss IL getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Kai Østbye hit a great ball. Leif Opdal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaramillo Amundarain in the 61st minute of play. In the 62ndth minute of the game Jaramillo Amundarain who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brufoss IL's Leif Opdal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jaramillo Amundarain took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leif Opdal. Leif Opdal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. In the 68thth minute of the game Jaramillo Amundarain who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brufoss IL's Leif Opdal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jaramillo Amundarain blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leif Opdal having to make a save. In the 73rd minute Jaramillo Amundarain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leif Opdal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jaramillo Amundarain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 75 minutes into the match, Brufoss IL's goal looked a bit too open when Jaramillo Amundarain came free, but Leif Opdal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brufoss IL's Leif Opdal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaramillo Amundarain in the 84th minute of play. Leif Opdal came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Sporting Angola's Jaramillo Amundarain. But to his dismay, Jaramillo Amundarain quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. Brufoss IL's Asbjørn Sigurdsen was substituted for Anders Elstad. Brufoss IL's Oscar Stokstad was substituted for Frode Tobiassen. Brufoss IL's Fabian Bjørgum was substituted for Ole-Kristian Lekven. August Bergsland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddy Sein having to interfere. Sporting Angola's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
