Mateo Michael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Morris Phipps, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Morris Phipps took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mateo Michael. Mateo Michael dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 15th minute Morris Phipps shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateo Michael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carolo Bernat hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 18th minute, Rodrigo Rojas made a precise shot to the right of Fahmi Pribadi. ≮王者归来≯Island Sunrise's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Mateo Michael didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Morris Phipps went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 28th minute, Domingo Blai ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mateo Michael was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrianinho Alves in the 31st minute of play forced Atlético Nuevo Laredo's goalkeeper Mateo Michael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Atlético Nuevo Laredo's Jonathan Martxot got a free kick in the 32nd minute. If Morris Phipps had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mateo Michael came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by ≮王者归来≯Island Sunrise's Morris Phipps. But to his dismay, Morris Phipps quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. 38 minutes into the match, Atlético Nuevo Laredo's goal looked a bit too open when Morris Phipps came free, but Mateo Michael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute Adrianinho Alves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateo Michael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half ≮王者归来≯Island Sunrise were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rodrigo Rojas to make the kick off. Mateo Michael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrianinho Alves in the 53rd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Morris Phipps took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Mateo Michael to make any attempt to save it. ≮王者归来≯Island Sunrise's Caco Andrade was substituted for Adrianinho Alves. 60 minutes into the game, Morris Phipps lined in a short shot 1-6 behind a frustrated Mateo Michael. Mateo Michael didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Caco Andrade went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-7 was the resulting score. Mateo Michael made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Caco Andrade sent off a good shot on target. 81 minutes into the match, ≮王者归来≯Island Sunrise's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Rojas came free, but Fahmi Pribadi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carolo Bernat hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ricardo Rocha during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 87 minutes of play, ≮王者归来≯Island Sunrise's Caco Andrade made it 1-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mateo Michael was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mateo Michael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Morris Phipps, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Morris Phipps received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Mateo Michael tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Morris Phipps had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. ≮王者归来≯Island Sunrise's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
