Despite this Nils-Erik Askelöf quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 12 minutes into the match, Southern Thrashers's goalkeeper Nils-Erik Askelöf had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Waldo Renteria. Cascade Park West were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after Southern Thrashers's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dexter Benton took the corner. In the 15th minute Cascade Park West were awarded a corner. Dexter Benton went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 17th minute, Waldo Renteria got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nils-Erik Askelöf made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Amir Lee sent off a good shot on target. Nurkan Salah's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dario Wilhelm read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Cascade Park West's goal looked a bit too open when Cai Inestrosa came free, but Dario Wilhelm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Cascade Park West's goal looked a bit too open when Nurkan Salah came free, but Dario Wilhelm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nils-Erik Askelöf made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Amir Lee sent off a good shot on target. Amir Lee recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 31stth minute of the game Nurkan Salah who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cascade Park West's Dario Wilhelm was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dario Wilhelm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cai Inestrosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Amir Lee came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Cascade Park West fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amir Lee couldn't finish the play. In the 38th minute Cai Inestrosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Wilhelm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 43 played minutes Cascade Park West got a freekick which was hit by Waldo Renteria. Dario Wilhelm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelino Ospin, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 48th minute Angelino Ospin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Wilhelm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amir Lee was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Cai Inestrosa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dario Wilhelm. The goal made the score 0-1. In the 54th minute, Southern Thrashers's Cai Inestrosa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. Cascade Park West's Dario Wilhelm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cai Inestrosa in the 57th minute of play. Dario Wilhelm made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Cai Inestrosa sent off a good shot on target. Allen Dalton kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Amir Lee sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Amir Lee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Waldo Renteria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Nils-Erik Askelöf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Waldo Renteria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dario Wilhelm made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Angelino Ospin sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Allen Dalton in the 74th minute of play forced Southern Thrashers's goalkeeper Nils-Erik Askelöf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Southern Thrashers's goal looked a bit too open when Allen Dalton came free, but Nils-Erik Askelöf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cascade Park West's Dario Wilhelm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cai Inestrosa in the 76th minute of play. Nils-Erik Askelöf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Allen Dalton in the 80th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Jamar Orlinsky hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82nd match minute, Cascade Park West was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jamar Orlinsky to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by 王沙谦 in the 86th minute of play forced Southern Thrashers's goalkeeper Nils-Erik Askelöf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dario Wilhelm made an important save on a dangerous shot by Angelino Ospin in the 88th minute. Nils-Erik Askelöf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Allen Dalton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 94 played minutes Southern Thrashers got a freekick which was hit by Oz Beer. The Southern Thrashers players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
