After a rather tough play, Indiana University's Ata Oğuzcan got a free kick in the 31st minute. Free Pot's Antonio Roma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yiğit Haşmetli in the 34th minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Yiğit Haşmetli had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Antonio Roma. Free Pot's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yiğit Haşmetli was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ruperto Camerino to make the kick off. Özalp Haliloğlus short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Antonio Roma to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Frits Lenoir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruperto Camerino in the 56th minute of play. Free Pot's Antonio Roma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yiğit Haşmetli in the 57th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruperto Camerino in the 58th minute of play forced Indiana University's goalkeeper Frits Lenoir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Özalp Haliloğlu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 61stth minute tested the skills of Antonio Roma when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 66th minute Kalle Delin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frits Lenoir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Indiana University made a substitution. Antonio Roma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Özalp Haliloğlu in the 88th minute of the match. If Özalp Haliloğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd match minute, Indiana University was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yiğit Haşmetli to maneuver through the defense.
