The corner led Dalens Darlings's Evert Kielberg to fire away a dangerous shot which Esteban Segio despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a rather tough play, New Chelsea FC's Elpidio Salvidor got a free kick in the 7th minute. 8 minutes into the match, New Chelsea FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ximenes Sangra came free, but Esteban Segio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute Ximenes Sangra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteban Segio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Esteban Segio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ximenes Sangra's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute Adam Hajduk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteban Segio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adam Biörnberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Goren in the 19th minute of the match. After 20 minutes, Ximenes Sangra made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. New Chelsea FC's Esteban Segio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jens-Åke Godholm struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Esteban Segio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dalens Darlings. In the 29thth minute of the game Ximenes Sangra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but New Chelsea FC's Esteban Segio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Christian Estefan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adam Biörnberg having to interfere. Esteban Segio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens-Åke Godholm in the 34th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Ximenes Sangra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Esteban Segio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. If Adam Hajduk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

After having played for 58 minutes, Ximenes Sangra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dalens Darlings's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ximenes Sangra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Esteban Segio stood somewhat misplaced when Ximenes Sangra came free in front of goal and shot 0-5 to the left of him in the 64 minute. The supporters of Dalens Darlings booed when New Chelsea FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Goren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dalens Darlings's Jakob Pihlberg was substituted for Felix Engström. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ximenes Sangra in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Esteban Segio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A hard shot 78 in the game by Ximenes Sangra from a close distance when the talented Esteban Segio managed to make a qualified save. New Chelsea FC's players were relieved. Ximenes Sangras short, quick shot in the 79thth minute got Esteban Segio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a little luck, New Chelsea FC's Esteban Segio got control of the ball when Jens-Åke Godholm tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, New Chelsea FC's Christian Goren got a free kick in the 84th minute. If Ximenes Sangra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 88 minutes into the match, Jens-Åke Godholm dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Esteban Segio, 0-6. In the 92nd minute, Ximenes Sangra fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Esteban Segio, passed just outside the right post. Esteban Segio made a fantastic save in the 98th minute, when Jens-Åke Godholm sent off a good shot on target. When the match was over Dalens Darlings could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than New Chelsea FC throughout the match.
