The Jovens Democratas MZC fans' excitement grew in the 3rd match minute when Jovens Democratas MZC's Marcus Paes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcus Paes was the one to do the kick off. Nemesio Jaen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silas Gerber in the 51st minute of play. Sergio Leocadio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jovens Democratas MZC's Dalmo Saldanha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Jovens Democratas MZC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vítor Lenzi in the 91st minute of play forced AKDmicos FC's goalkeeper Nemesio Jaen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raul Jaunti who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 94thth minute tested the skills of Dalmo Saldanha when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 95thth minute of the game Raul Jaunti who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jovens Democratas MZC's Dalmo Saldanha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jovens Democratas MZC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
