When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Aquiles Gana took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Efim Fedotov to make any attempt to save it. 24 minutes into the match, AC Morena's Aquiles Gana sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Efim Fedotov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. AC Morena's Aldo Di Biagio quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Kirill Gerasimchuk, made in the 47th minute of the game. STORM's Efim Fedotov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save STORM from getting a goal against them. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Denis Lavrentev to make the kick off.
