Jânio Novaes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jânio Novaes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric Gary having to interfere. When Viorel Olaru fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jagiellonia Denver's protests and gave Viorel Olaru a yellow card for diving instead. In the 7th minute, Viorel Olaru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ivan Moutinho took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eric Gary. Eric Gary dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Raul Lameirinhas charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raul Lameirinhas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 13th minute, Raul Lameirinhas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jagiellonia Denver's Eric Gary played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Moutinho in the 16th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Rodrigo Chap ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Long Gang Sen was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Eric Gary showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Moutinho in the 21st minute of the match. In the 28th minute of the match Sun Lin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Long Gang Sen skillfully saved the ball. 29 minutes into the game, FC Fura Balizas's Ivan Moutinho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eric Gary made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ivan Moutinho in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eric Gary prevented the ball from getting in the gole. FC Fura Balizas's attentive Gusmão Benevides managed to snatch the ball when Sun Lin made a throw-in in the 35th minute of the game. In a very dangerous position, a player in Jagiellonia Denver fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 36th minute. Penalty! After 44 minutes Jagiellonia Denver's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gusmão Benevides who took care of the corner kick. FC Fura Balizas's Konrad Birkenhagen was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Eric Gary in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After the first half FC Fura Balizas were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Michal Majdoch stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ivan Moutinho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eric Gary having to make a save. 57 minutes into the match, FC Fura Balizas's goal looked a bit too open when Cacá Čačak came free, but Long Gang Sen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute Ivan Moutinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Gary saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Long Gang Sen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cacá Čačak in the 60th minute of the match. Ivan Moutinho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eric Gary read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, FC Fura Balizas's goal looked a bit too open when Cacá Čačak came free, but Long Gang Sen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jagiellonia Denver's Eric Gary played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Moutinho in the 67th minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, FC Fura Balizas's Ivan Moutinho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eric Gary narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jagiellonia Denver's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Mario Azeari 77 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-5. FC Fura Balizas made a substitution. Cândido Cabral replaced Mario Azeari. FC Fura Balizas's Long Gang Sen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 蔡伟洲 in the 82nd minute of play. In the 82ndth minute of the game 蔡伟洲 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Fura Balizas's Long Gang Sen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eric Gary came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Fura Balizas's Cândido Cabral. But to his dismay, Cândido Cabral quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. Jagiellonia Denver's Per-Olof Åkesson was substituted for Florence Diaz. Olívio Ribas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eric Gary read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. In the 92nd minute, FC Fura Balizas's Olívio Ribas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-7. FC Fura Balizas's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
