Elmar Tuulemaa made in the 12th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Haithabu FC's Conrad Vrolijcx. Fabian Söderström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gilbert Lange in the 15th minute. In the 19th minute Gilbert Lange shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Söderström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remy Van Eyken in the 21st minute of play forced LİONS PEAK's goalkeeper Işık Hurmacı to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Remy Van Eyken notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of LİONS PEAK's Işık Hurmacı. Işık Hurmacı was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gilbert Lange could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Fabian Söderström made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as LİONS PEAK's Romulo Cesario slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fabian Söderström. That made the score 1-1 after 34 minutes of play. Fabian Söderström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilbert Lange, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gilbert Lange in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabian Söderström saved Haithabu FC from getting behind. 39 minutes into the match, Haithabu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Peeters came free, but Fabian Söderström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute, Remy Van Eyken ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Işık Hurmacı was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remy Van Eyken in the 46th minute of play forced LİONS PEAK's goalkeeper Işık Hurmacı to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes into the game, Haithabu FC's Remy Van Eyken nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Işık Hurmacı made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

LİONS PEAK made a substitution. Hamlet Häfliger replaced Vedat Mertoğlu. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Remy Van Eyken was the one to do the kick off. After 54 minutes of play, Haithabu FC's Remy Van Eyken made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Işık Hurmacı was left in no man's land by his defense there! Conrad Vrolijcx hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. LİONS PEAK made a substitution. Mücahit Gümüşcüoğlu replaced Güven Eryildiz. In the 58th match minute, Haithabu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conrad Vrolijcx to maneuver through the defense. Haithabu FC's Fabian Söderström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilbert Lange in the 59th minute of play. Işık Hurmacı showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remy Van Eyken, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remy Van Eyken in the 71st minute of play forced LİONS PEAK's goalkeeper Işık Hurmacı to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabian Söderström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romulo Cesario in the 75th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Remy Van Eyken kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Işık Hurmacı. That made the score 1-5 in the 81 minute of play. Haithabu FC made a substitution. Rigoberto Piearres replaced Remy Van Eyken. Işık Hurmacı came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Haithabu FC's Rigoberto Piearres. But to his dismay, Rigoberto Piearres quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. Işık Hurmacı made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rigoberto Piearres in the 94th minute of play. 96 minutes into the game, Rigoberto Piearres cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-7. Işık Hurmacı was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Haithabu FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Haithabu FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
