With a little luck, Humos del Cairo FC's Aaron Conrao got control of the ball when Rune Myr tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 33rd minute Cleto Sabin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adilson das Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by Aurora FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Haroldo Monte was slow to take the kick. During this time Humos del Cairo FC's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Edelmiro Cordario heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Rune Myr had several of the Humos del Cairo FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 36 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Aaron Conrao as he didn't even see the shot coming. Cleto Sabin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
