Gremio Viana's 苏景骋 quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 3 minutes into the match, Gremio Viana's Domingos Lencastre sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jean-Marie Sanquer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domingos Lencastre in the 6th minute of play forced Perthes United's goalkeeper Jean-Marie Sanquer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Perthes United's goalkeeper Jean-Marie Sanquer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 7 minutes of play, Gremio Viana's Domingos Lencastre made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jean-Marie Sanquer was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Armand Mondon got free with Moisés Nóbrega in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Moisés Nóbrega made an important save on a dangerous shot by Armand Mondon in the 11th minute. Moisés Nóbrega made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Armand Mondon sent off a good shot on target. 16 minutes into the match, Perthes United's goal looked a bit too open when 苏景骋 came free, but Jean-Marie Sanquer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jean-Marie Sanquer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Domingos Lencastre's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Jean-Marie Sanquer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingos Lencastre in the 21st minute of play. If Domingos Lencastre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domingos Lencastre in the 23rd minute of play forced Perthes United's goalkeeper Jean-Marie Sanquer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Perthes United's goalkeeper Jean-Marie Sanquer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Loïc Curt got free with Moisés Nóbrega in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 33 minutes into the match, Perthes United's goal looked a bit too open when 苏景骋 came free, but Jean-Marie Sanquer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute Domingos Lencastre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean-Marie Sanquer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 韩轩建 kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. The Perthes United players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Gremio Viana were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Armand Mondon to make the kick off. Gremio Viana's Amado Melo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Théophile Clarac, made in the 51st minute of the game. After 57 played minutes Perthes United got a freekick which was hit by Jason Henrio. A collision led to Gremio Viana getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Adalberto Leite hit a great ball. 66 minutes into the game, Domingos Lencastre recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jean-Marie Sanquer. Domingos Lencastre showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Jean-Marie Sanquer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 江飞正, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jean-Marie Sanquer came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Gremio Viana's 江飞正. But to his dismay, 江飞正 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The supporters of Gremio Viana booed when Perthes United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Théophile Clarac didn't get a good kick on the ball. Domingos Lencastre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gremio Viana's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Adalberto Leite in the 82nd minute. Perthes United's Jean-Marie Sanquer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Perthes United from getting a goal against them. In the 94th match minute, Perthes United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hercule Basque to maneuver through the defense. The Perthes United supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Gremio Viana's performance. The match ended with a win for Gremio Viana.
