In the 24th minute, Hercule Basque got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the SCALONETA defense, Loïc Curt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Filomeno Udalaitz. The SCALONETA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Filomeno Udalaitz should have stopped the shot. 34 minutes into the game, Perthes United's Armand Mondon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Filomeno Udalaitz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. SCALONETA's Filomeno Udalaitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hercule Basque in the 38th minute of play. Filomeno Udalaitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Loïc Curt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute of the match Patrice Lambolez shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Filomeno Udalaitz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iker Ortle in the 43rd minute of play forced Perthes United's goalkeeper Jean-Marie Sanquer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filomeno Udalaitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loïc Curt in the 44th minute of play. Filomeno Udalaitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armand Mondon in the 46th minute of the match.

SCALONETA's Filomeno Udalaitz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save SCALONETA from getting a goal against them. In the 52nd minute Eliott Dauba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filomeno Udalaitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Loïc Curt received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Filomeno Udalaitz came out and tried to block the shot, but Loïc Curt slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 53rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Eliott Dauba kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Filomeno Udalaitz. That made the score 0-9 in the 57 minute of play. If Hercule Basque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filomeno Udalaitz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Armand Mondon went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-10 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet as Eliott Dauba kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Filomeno Udalaitz. That made the score 0-11 in the 65 minute of play. The supporters of SCALONETA booed when Perthes United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Théophile Clarac didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Perthes United's zone, Wiliam Dracena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jean-Marie Sanquer came out of the goal and Wiliam Dracena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With 72 minutes on the clock, Théophile Clarac commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 71st minute, one of Perthes United:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Perthes United. Filomeno Udalaitz was a little too slow when Loïc Curt got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 0-12. Filomeno Udalaitz was out of position in the 86 minute of play, and Hercule Basque capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hercule Basque really showed his touch with that goal: 0-13. In the 90th minute, Eliott Dauba left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Perthes United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-14. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Hercule Basque managed to get in a good position for a shot. Perthes United's supporters rose to their feet, but Hercule Basque was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filomeno Udalaitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Loïc Curt took a quick shot and it went in 0-15 without a chance for Filomeno Udalaitz to make any attempt to save it. Perthes United's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
