The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mao Yang Yang during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Eddie Vedder made the kick off in the second half. If Eddie Vedder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sonny Alén showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eddie Vedder in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 56th minute Eddie Vedder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sonny Alén saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Cosa Nostra's goalkeeper Sonny Alén, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 68 minutes into the match, La Cosa Nostra's goal looked a bit too open when Eddie Vedder came free, but Sonny Alén reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 72 minutes into the game, Ramon Achterberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cesar Bibiano during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
