Carel Van de Schrieck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geovanildo Luis, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 12th minute, Geovanildo Luis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carel Van de Schrieck was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 14 minutes into the match, Café DE PLOEG's goal looked a bit too open when Geovanildo Luis came free, but Carel Van de Schrieck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Café DE PLOEG's Luisinho Vidal got a free kick in the 15th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Wiechgers made a kick off. Carel Van de Schrieck had in the 74thth minute some difficulties stopping Horácio Abraão's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Carel Van de Schrieck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adhemar Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Horácio Abraão received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Carel Van de Schrieck came out and tried to block the shot, but Horácio Abraão slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 79th minute. Charl De Metser's late challenge caught a Joinville City - FSCMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Horácio Abraão got free with Carel Van de Schrieck in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 92 minutes, Horácio Abraão mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Joinville City - FSCMZ and the Café DE PLOEG players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Joinville City - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Horácio Abraão hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adhemar Santos in the 94th minute of play forced Café DE PLOEG's goalkeeper Carel Van de Schrieck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Horácio Abraão took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Carel Van de Schrieck to make any attempt to save it. The Café DE PLOEG fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Joinville City - FSCMZ were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
