The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ulrico Herzog made the kick off which started today's match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dário Prada in the 3rd minute of play forced Valencia Santa Fe's goalkeeper Jeronimo Dantel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 3rd minute, Dário Prada made a precise shot to the right of Jeronimo Dantel. Valencia Santa Fe's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dário Prada in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jeronimo Dantel saved Valencia Santa Fe from getting behind. Dário Prada took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jeronimo Dantel. Jeronimo Dantel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Jeronimo Dantel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dário Prada in the 13th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Staff in the 14th minute of play forced Valencia Santa Fe's goalkeeper Jeronimo Dantel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th match minute, Valencia Santa Fe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herbert Lewkowicz to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dário Prada in the 17th minute of play forced Valencia Santa Fe's goalkeeper Jeronimo Dantel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dário Prada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dário Prada's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jeronimo Dantel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Jeronimo Dantel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dário Prada in the 34th minute of play. Silas de Andrade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulrico Herzog, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valencia Santa Fe's Jeronimo Dantel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dário Prada in the 37th minute of play. Jeronimo Dantel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dário Prada in the 38th minute of play. Silas de Andrade made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when George Hagi sent off a good shot on target. In the 41st minute, Dário Prada made a precise shot to the right of Jeronimo Dantel. Valencia Santa Fe's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilvan Aguiar in the 45th minute of play forced Valencia Santa Fe's goalkeeper Jeronimo Dantel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Los Hornos were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dário Prada to make the kick off. Jeronimo Dantel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dário Prada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Los Hornos's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Marcu Şuteu in the 54th minute. A nice corner shot did that Lucas Staff got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jeronimo Dantel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 56th minute, Yan Chong hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeronimo Dantel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dário Prada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Dário Prada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jeronimo Dantel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dário Prada in the 62nd minute. After a rather tough play, Los Hornos's Charlie Hancock got a free kick in the 71st minute. Los Hornos made a substitution. Oodo Rosin replaced Gilvan Aguiar. The supporters of Valencia Santa Fe booed when Los Hornos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charlie Hancock didn't get a good kick on the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Los Hornos's goal looked a bit too open when Knut Västerberg came free, but Silas de Andrade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silas de Andrade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulrico Herzog, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. 83 minutes into the match, Valencia Santa Fe's goalkeeper Jeronimo Dantel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dário Prada. Silas de Andrade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulrico Herzog, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dário Prada could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Jeronimo Dantel made a huge save. Ismael Mingo kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. In the 89th minute Oodo Rosin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeronimo Dantel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeronimo Dantel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oodo Rosin, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Ulrico Herzog's late challenge caught a Los Hornos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ulrico Herzog helped the player get up and apologised. Silas de Andrade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Knut Västerberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Los Hornos walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
