To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 6 minutes, Besim Vecdet made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Magallanes's Isidro Camara tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A sloppy throw-in by Tomás Thompson in the 17th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's Aiakos Vardakas. Besim Vecdet took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Isidro Camara. Isidro Camara dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After 21 played minutes Magallanes got a freekick which was hit by Peio Raggio. A collision led to ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Aiakos Vardakas hit a great ball. Isidro Camara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oliver Bogren in the 37th minute of play. Besim Vecdet scored 0-3 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Isidro Camara, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ booed when Magallanes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomás Thompson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 44 minutes into the game, ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's Besim Vecdet nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Isidro Camara made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kadim Sebil made a kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Magallanes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guille Aravena to maneuver through the defense. 56 minutes into the match, Besim Vecdet had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Isidro Camara. Magallanes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Besim Vecdet was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. In the 61st minute, Fotis Theofilopoulos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Magallanes made a substitution. Juan Mondaca replaced Kadim Sebil. A collision led to ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Fotis Theofilopoulos hit a great ball. In the 63rd minute, Juan Mondaca left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Magallanes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Magallanes's goalkeeper Isidro Camara, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aias Kreskas got free with Isidro Camara in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Magallanes getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Rito Encina hit a great ball. Isidro Camara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ibn Serkan in the 72nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peio Raggio in the 74th minute of play forced ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's goalkeeper Di Xuan Zhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Juan Mondaca in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Di Xuan Zhan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Isidro Camara made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aias Kreskas in the 77th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Magallanes's goal looked a bit too open when Aias Kreskas came free, but Isidro Camara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 80 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's Aias Kreskas fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Fotis Theofilopoulos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Isidro Camara made a huge save. Magallanes's Guille Aravena quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Aiakos Vardakas, made in the 86th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Aias Kreskas took a quick shot and it went in 1-6 without a chance for Isidro Camara to make any attempt to save it.
