After 11 minutes, Alonzo Faron mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the North of California and the SISTRELLS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hector Martxel hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Filomeno Benedicto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gervasio Isias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Filomeno Benedicto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gervasio Isias in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Leif Törnqvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Filomeno Benedicto was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The referee felt a red card was in order, 37 minutes into the game, when Ignacio Pedrosa put in a rough tackle. After 37 played minutes SISTRELLS got a freekick which was hit by Ignacio Pedrosa. Serafin Ilazki took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 38th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Filomeno Benedicto. SISTRELLS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. North of California's Antonio Guillelme got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aita Yeste sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabian Lorencio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Urbano Havier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leif Törnqvist made a kick off. Urbano Havier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aita Yeste in the 64th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, SISTRELLS's goalkeeper Filomeno Benedicto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gervasio Isias. 67 minutes into the match, Aita Yeste had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Urbano Havier. North of California's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aita Yeste was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. If Fabian Lorencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. SISTRELLS's Jon Echeto was substituted for Ion Solana. Misael Morera hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute of the match Serafin Ilazki shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Filomeno Benedicto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 79 minutes into the match, SISTRELLS's goal looked a bit too open when Leif Törnqvist came free, but Filomeno Benedicto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aita Yeste in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Urbano Havier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 91st minute Aita Yeste shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urbano Havier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, SISTRELLS's Filomeno Benedicto got control of the ball when Leif Törnqvist tried to sneak it across the goal line.
