The audience was convinced that Dino Baciadonne's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Celso de Carvalho was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by G.S. Prisma Fiorenzuola's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ciro Melone was slow to take the kick. During this time Coriano FC's players had a chance to rest. G.S. Celso de Carvalho yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The G.S. Prisma Fiorenzuola fans' excitement grew in the 41st match minute when G.S. Prisma Fiorenzuola's Donato Goiz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Beppe Puce didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Donato Goiz went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After the first half G.S. Prisma Fiorenzuola were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ferdinando Di Camillo was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, G.S. Prisma Fiorenzuola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zenon Jaszcz to maneuver through the defense. Coriano FC:s Beppe Puce showed great skill when he stopped Donato Goiz:s penalty. After 84 played minutes Coriano FC got a freekick which was hit by Damiano Di Nucci. Damiano Di Nucci hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. 86 minutes into the match, Coriano FC's goal looked a bit too open when Donato Goiz came free, but Beppe Puce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dino Baciadonne's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Celso de Carvalho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Ferdinando Di Camillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celso de Carvalho having to interfere. In the 96th match minute, G.S. Prisma Fiorenzuola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zenon Jaszcz to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 98 minutes, Ferdinando Di Camillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Coriano FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ferdinando Di Camillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
