The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Richard Enegren might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roger Fagrell. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Richard Enegren ran back to his position shaking his head. Roger Fagrell didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Richard Enegren went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 8th match minute, Zendium was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erland Boklund to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Sjötorp IF getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Gunnar Ahlerot hit a great ball. Jan Jelm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariusz Pazura, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Andreas Andreasson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jan Jelm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariusz Pazura in the 21st minute of play. Erland Boklund kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After 27 minutes of play, Zendium's Andreas Telin made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roger Fagrell was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 30th minute Bo Edström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Fagrell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariusz Pazura in the 38th minute of play forced Zendium's goalkeeper Jan Jelm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st minute, Zendium's Richard Enegren ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Roger Fagrell. Roger Fagrell yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Mikael Öman charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mikael Öman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 47th match minute, Zendium was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albin Lekberg to maneuver through the defense. Sjötorp IF made a substitution. Andreas Alm replaced Sebastian Qvarnström. In the 48th minute, Albin Lekberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sjötorp IF were awarded a corner in the 51th minute after Zendium's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Doni Muli took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Jüri Ojarand got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jan Jelm quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The wind increased when Mariusz Pazura made the kick off in the second half. Robert Andersson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 56th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jan Jelm. Zendium's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jüri Ojarand got free with Jan Jelm in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jan Jelm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jüri Ojarand in the 62nd minute of the match. Mikael Öman got his second yellow card in the match during the 63rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Mikael Öman kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Jan Jelm made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariusz Pazura in the 69th minute. Sjötorp IF's Andreas Alm managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Albin Lekberg in the 72 minute of the game. Jüri Ojarand received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Jan Jelm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zendium made a substitution. Mårten Blom replaced Richard Enegren. Zendium's Stig Magnusson was substituted for Alberto Bosso. Zendium made a substitution. Dick Bennet replaced Joacim Backlund. Zendium's Mårten Blom got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 82nd minute, Dick Bennet ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roger Fagrell was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. A collision led to Zendium getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Bo Edström hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Sjötorp IF's zone, Mårten Blom stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roger Fagrell came out of the goal and Mårten Blom tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roger Fagrell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bo Edström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sjötorp IF's Roger Fagrell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bo Edström in the 92nd minute of play. In the 94th minute Jüri Ojarand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Jelm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan Jelm didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mariusz Pazura went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Mariusz Pazura took the ball and in the 100 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jan Jelm. Jan Jelm dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2.
