Kevin Hellkvist did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Alfredo Matteo 2 minutes into the match. C.A.Independiente's attentive Oto Tomaschek managed to snatch the ball when Brian Langford made a throw-in in the 5th minute of the game. When Adolfo Sidro came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the C.A.Independiente fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adolfo Sidro couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Kevin Hellkvist put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Alfredo Matteo. Alfredo Matteo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kevin Hellkvist in the 13th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Kevin Hellkvist dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alfredo Matteo, 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolfo Sidro in the 20th minute of play forced Juventus Telford's goalkeeper Luizinho Paranaense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute Adolfo Sidro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luizinho Paranaense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luizinho Paranaense came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by C.A.Independiente's Adolfo Sidro. But to his dismay, Adolfo Sidro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kevin Hellkvist to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, C.A.Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Kevin Hellkvist came free, but Alfredo Matteo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 54th minute of the match Juventus Telford got a corner. C.A.Independiente's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. José Liamthaisong ran over to the corner to take the kick. Alfredo Matteo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kevin Hellkvist in the 56th minute of the match. Alfredo Matteo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Hellkvist in the 65th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cleto Argider during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cleto Argider hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. 81 minutes into the match, Juventus Telford's Kevin Hellkvist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfredo Matteo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kevin Hellkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. C.A.Independiente's Godofredo Medero was substituted for Sixto Panfilo. Brian Langford kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. In the 88th minute, Seth Gill hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juventus Telford's Luizinho Paranaense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugenio Arano in the 93rd minute of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
