Maximiliano Naelio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Cirilo Frederico made a huge save. Cirilo Frederico made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Maximiliano Naelio sent off a good shot on target. Cirilo Frederico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tom Misaki in the 21st minute of play. Kiev FC's attentive Carl Skager managed to snatch the ball when Alberto Hanni made a throw-in in the 23rd minute of the game. In the 24th minute, Anselmo Iturri ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Olivér Khan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 29th minute Anselmo Iturri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olivér Khan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Platense es de Primera!!'s goalkeeper Olivér Khan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Olivér Khan came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Kiev FC's Anselmo Iturri. But to his dismay, Anselmo Iturri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Olivér Khan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Iturri in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anselmo Iturri in the 43rd minute of play forced Platense es de Primera!!'s goalkeeper Olivér Khan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Platense es de Primera!!'s Maximiliano Naelio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cirilo Frederico narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Anselmo Iturri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Anselmo Iturri made the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the game, Kiev FC's Anselmo Iturri nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Olivér Khan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 64th minute Maximiliano Naelio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cirilo Frederico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olivér Khan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ovidio Sugar in the 68th minute of play. Cirilo Frederico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emir Kujović, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Platense es de Primera!!'s Moises Inocente was substituted for Maximiliano Naelio. Kiev FC's Rodolfo Burni was substituted for Ladislao Batista. A collision led to Platense es de Primera!! getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Ediberto de Amaral hit a great ball. In the 78th minute, Alberto Hanni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Platense es de Primera!!'s Henrique de Carvalho got a free kick in the 85th minute. The supporters of Kiev FC booed when Platense es de Primera!! was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ediberto de Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Angelino Abeita from long distance, 88 minutes into the match, got Olivér Khan's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Thanks to some nice moves Alvaro Gartxot could shoot a difficult shot in the 94th minute, which Olivér Khan however easily saved by the left post. In the 94th match minute, Platense es de Primera!! was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrique de Carvalho to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Kiev FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
