Bezerros EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hamburg Fighters the free kick. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gianluca Balla couldn't finish the play. 23 minutes into the match, Bezerros EC's goal looked a bit too open when Gianluca Balla came free, but Luiz Fernando Peixoto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Szilárd Újváry fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Fernando Peixoto having to interfere. Luiz Fernando Peixoto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Szilárd Újváry, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Hamburg Fighters booed when Bezerros EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Naldo Freitas didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Hamburg Fighters getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Gianni Balla hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Gianluca Balla put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Luiz Fernando Peixoto. 71 minutes into the game, Gianluca Balla recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Luiz Fernando Peixoto. Gianluca Balla showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Luiz Fernando Peixoto made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Gianluca Balla sent off a good shot on target. Alberto Guedes hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Naldo Freitas kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Hamburg Fighters's Gianni Balla was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Luiz Fernando Peixoto in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Donato Ceresso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Hamburg Fighters left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Bezerros EC.
