The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mauro Bezerra in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cafer Demirsah saved Jonathan Livingston from getting behind. In the 22nd minute, Mauro Bezerra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Saul Piarres managed to get in a good position for a shot. Schuster's supporters rose to their feet, but Saul Piarres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cafer Demirsah breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 26th minute Prudencio Maju shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Ali saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mauro Bezerra blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cafer Demirsah having to make a save. Mauro Bezerra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Cafer Demirsah made a huge save. With a little luck, Jonathan Livingston's Cafer Demirsah got control of the ball when Mauro Bezerra tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Richy Hensmans replaced Anfilogino Pittelli. Schuster's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Saul Piarres in the 75th minute. Musko Cuevas made a great header on Schuster's corner, it was just that Jonathan Livingston's Cafer Demirsah managed to reach the ball for a save.
