The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gabriele Batistuta was the one to do the kick off. Camilo Salvidor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Los Materos FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
