Noel Velloso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Kevin Kivaste made a huge save. Kevin Kivaste was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Albert Hidegkúti showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 12 minute of play. Flávio Reiss short, quick shot in the 17thth minute got Kevin Kivaste to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 21 minutes into the match, Drunken Sea Monkeys's goalkeeper Kevin Kivaste had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Flávio Reis. Kevin Kivaste made an important save on a dangerous shot by Noel Velloso in the 22nd minute. Drunken Sea Monkeys's Kevin Kivaste proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Drunken Sea Monkeys from getting a goal against them. Albert Hidegkúti's late challenge caught a Drunken Sea Monkeys's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albert Hidegkúti helped the player get up and apologised. 29 minutes into the game, Flávio Reis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Kevin Kivaste was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Flávio Reis put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Kevin Kivaste. Kevin Kivaste showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flávio Reis in the 41st minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Albert Hidegkúti kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kevin Kivaste. That made the score 6-0 in the 42 minute of play. After 45 played minutes Sipo EC got a freekick which was hit by José Paulo Prata. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lennart Saare to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Flávio Reis in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kevin Kivaste prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 54th minute, Dráusio Costa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sipo EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. In the 57th minute, Tom Laasik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vito Teles in the 78th minute of play forced Drunken Sea Monkeys's goalkeeper Kevin Kivaste to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kevin Kivaste came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Sipo EC's Albert Hidegkúti. But to his dismay, Albert Hidegkúti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. The audience was convinced that Flávio Reis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kevin Kivaste was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game.
