The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ennu Krae was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Boomerang Bombers's Mikael Sjögren got control of the ball when Ennu Krae tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rymu's Helari Hunt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henry Tolsson in the 53rd minute of play. Ennu Krae could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Mikael Sjögren made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Åke Lundström in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Helari Hunt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With an all-out effort, Rymu's Mikael Sjögren threw himself towards the right post 62 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Simo Mihklisaar, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Billy Sundberg came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Boomerang Bombers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Billy Sundberg couldn't finish the play. Rymu made a substitution.
