Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Inocencio Veronica made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zheng Yang Zhen in the 12th minute. Ross Strong sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Inocencio Veronica was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sotiris Zacharakis showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 16 minute of play. A collision led to ΠΑΟΚ FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Batuhan Secaat hit a great ball. In the 28th minute, Bienvenido Largacha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Özbek Samet was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Zheng Yang Zhens short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Inocencio Veronica to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Bienvenido Largacha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 40 minutes of play, ΠΑΟΚ FC's Sotiris Zacharakis made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Inocencio Veronica was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to ΠΑΟΚ FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Björn Kamp hit a great ball. Higinio Dolfo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Higinio Dolfo during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 46th match minute, Rafaela FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Higinio Dolfo to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bienvenido Largacha made a kick off. Bienvenido Largacha who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Özbek Samet when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 54 minutes into the game, ΠΑΟΚ FC's Sotiris Zacharakis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Inocencio Veronica made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Özbek Samet made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Bienvenido Largacha sent off a good shot on target. Esteban Ikatz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Özbek Samet made a huge save. Rafaela FC were furious when Eloy Gipuzkoa was red carded, 66 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. ΠΑΟΚ FC's Vassilis Bitsikas was substituted for Theofanis Klotsobounidas. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 65th minute of the game. One of Rafaela FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of ΠΑΟΚ FC:s goal. The throw-in from Ross Strong in the 74th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by ΠΑΟΚ FC's Petros Mirtsos. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sotiris Zacharakis in the 82nd minute of play forced Rafaela FC's goalkeeper Inocencio Veronica to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ubaldo Lluis in the 83rd minute of play forced ΠΑΟΚ FC's goalkeeper Özbek Samet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rafaela FC's Inocencio Veronica played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Akakios Kazantzidis in the 86th minute of play. Inocencio Veronica stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Akakios Kazantzidis's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. 93 minutes into the game, ΠΑΟΚ FC's Akakios Kazantzidis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Inocencio Veronica made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. Inocencio Veronica showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Akakios Kazantzidis in the 96th minute of the match. In the 97th minute, Isaias Oso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. ΠΑΟΚ FC had won after a very even match.
