The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cléberson Mendonça kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. If Alberto Spencer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 7th minute, Alberto Spencer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RockCity F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 13 played minutes Purple Shadows got a freekick which was hit by Maciej Lewicki. Dobromir Keep took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Spencer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes into the game, RockCity F.C.'s Alberto Spencer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dobromir Keep made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The audience was convinced that Alberto Spencer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dobromir Keep was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Dobromir Keep showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Spencer in the 30th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alberto Spencer in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dobromir Keep saved Purple Shadows from getting behind. Dobromir Keep showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Spencer, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Dobromir Keep showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Spencer in the 35th minute of the match. In the 36th minute RockCity F.C. were awarded a corner. Bagui Barrasa went to the cornerflag to take it. RockCity F.C.'s Bagui Barrasa was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dobromir Keep in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Dobromir Keep came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by RockCity F.C.'s Ángel Mena. But to his dismay, Ángel Mena quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After 41 minutes of play, RockCity F.C.'s Alberto Spencer made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dobromir Keep was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dobromir Keep took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ángel Mena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute, Ángel Mena left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RockCity F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alberto Spencer to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Purple Shadows's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Spencer came free, but Dobromir Keep reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dobromir Keep made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Spencer in the 56th minute. Purple Shadows's Dobromir Keep played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ángel Mena in the 59th minute of play. Dobromir Keep showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristobal Bozo in the 62nd minute of the match. Purple Shadows's Dobromir Keep played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristobal Bozo in the 63rd minute of play. In the 64th minute of the match RockCity F.C. got a corner. Purple Shadows's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bagui Barrasa ran over to the corner to take the kick. Bagui Barrasa made a great header on RockCity F.C.'s corner, it was just that Purple Shadows's Dobromir Keep managed to reach the ball for a save. Alberto Spencer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. RockCity F.C.'s Cagua Seoane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cléberson Mendonça in the 69th minute of play. Ángel Mena was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 73rd minute. RockCity F.C.'s manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. RockCity F.C.'s Félix Cisneros was substituted for Jesper Wennerquist. 76 minutes into the match, RockCity F.C.'s Alberto Spencer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dobromir Keep narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dobromir Keep made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ángel Mena in the 80th minute of play. After 81 played minutes Purple Shadows got a freekick which was hit by Tymoteusz Jekot. The supporters of RockCity F.C. booed when Purple Shadows was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tymoteusz Jekot didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ángel Mena scored 0-6 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dobromir Keep, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched RockCity F.C. eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
