Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Espigão Steamrollers's Oswaldo Nascimento was substituted for Tarcisio Galvão. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eugeniusz Trzaskoma to make the kick off. When Roneixon Siqueira came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Espigão Steamrollers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roneixon Siqueira couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in United.SF's zone, Roneixon Siqueira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Radostin Stanev came out of the goal and Roneixon Siqueira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 87 minutes into the match, Roneixon Siqueira dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Radostin Stanev, 1-4. Radostin Stanev stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roneixon Siqueira's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Radostin Stanev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roneixon Siqueira in the 94th minute of play. When the match was over Espigão Steamrollers could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than United.SF throughout the match.
