Oliver Kahn made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Palmiro Colaço sent off a good shot on target. 34 minutes into the match, F.C.Bacha's goal looked a bit too open when Apolo Urritz came free, but Vicente Abrantes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oscar Nyberg charged in rather forcefully in the 48th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oscar Nyberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 48 played minutes Elpobre toma sidraTUNUYAN got a freekick which was hit by Oscar Nyberg.

The wind increased when Santos Guillelme made the kick off in the second half. F.C.Bacha's Vicente Abrantes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Larra in the 57th minute of play.
