Constantino Salgado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Qu Feng Bin having to make a save. When PERSPOLIS's Constantino Salgado in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 19th match minute, PERSPOLIS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Egoitz to maneuver through the defense. Roberto Simões sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, PERSPOLIS's Yiyo Esperta got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 27th minute, Ekialde Nadal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Qu Feng Bin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Atlético São Sebastião's Qu Feng Bin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cipriano Ganix in the 30th minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Atlético São Sebastião's goal looked a bit too open when Ekialde Nadal came free, but Qu Feng Bin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Honorio Carceles was slow to take the kick. During this time PERSPOLIS's players had a chance to rest. PERSPOLIS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Honorio Carceles in the 42nd minute. After taking down the ball on PERSPOLIS's corner Honorio Carceles fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Qu Feng Bin quite easily take care of the ball. Roberto Simões sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cipriano Ganix to strike the kick off in the second half. Dean Grieve made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Falcão Zonta in the 57th minute of play. In the 57th minute Falcão Zonta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dean Grieve saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ekialde Nadals short, quick shot in the 59thth minute got Qu Feng Bin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Dean Grieve showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from William Santana in the 61st minute of the match. The corner led to Atlético São Sebastião's Falcão Zonta getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After a rather tough play, Atlético São Sebastião's Roberto Simões got a free kick in the 72nd minute. PERSPOLIS made a substitution. Facundo Feria replaced Cipriano Ganix. PERSPOLIS made a substitution. Emiliano Quintero replaced Ekialde Nadal. In the 73rd minute, Roberto Simões hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Facundo Feria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roberto Simões kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Facundo Feria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Qu Feng Bin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Although Atlético São Sebastião had been in control for most of the match, PERSPOLIS still came away with the win.
