Enrique Cassaretto started the match with the kick off. George Forsyth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alpheios Logarakis in the 2nd minute of play. Enrique Cassaretto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Chico Pinho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. With an all-out effort, CD Municipal's Chico Pinho threw himself towards the right post 7 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Enrique Cassaretto, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 8th minute Lucas Beltrán shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Forsyth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th minute of the match Nova Era got a corner. CD Municipal's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Guaberto Rocio ran over to the corner to take the kick. Martino Armona could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Chico Pinho made a huge save. A collision led to Nova Era getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. João do Nascimento hit a great ball. Chico Pinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrique Cassaretto in the 21st minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Nova Era's Reynaldo Mello seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Reynaldo Mello the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Nova Era protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Reynaldo Mello had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Reynaldo Mello kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, CD Municipal's Chico Pinho threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Enrique Cassaretto, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. CD Municipal's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Călin Morovan in the 33rd minute. The corner ended in Călin Morovan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Nova Era's Chico Pinho did a great save. 35 minutes into the match, CD Municipal's Enrique Cassaretto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Chico Pinho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 40 minutes into the match, CD Municipal's goal looked a bit too open when Alpheios Logarakis came free, but George Forsyth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enrique Cassaretto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Chico Pinho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Enrique Cassaretto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Chico Pinho was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lucas Beltrán made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Enrique Cassaretto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lucas Beltrán could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but George Forsyth made a huge save. 61 minutes into the match, Nova Era's goal looked a bit too open when Martino Armona came free, but Chico Pinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. George Forsyth was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alpheios Logarakis showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 62 minute of play. CD Municipal made a substitution. Oalo Dean replaced Enrique Cassaretto. 69 minutes into the match, Nova Era's goal looked a bit too open when Oalo Dean came free, but Chico Pinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucas Beltrán sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oalo Dean in the 75th minute of play forced Nova Era's goalkeeper Chico Pinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 77 minutes of play, CD Municipal's Oalo Dean made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Chico Pinho was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nova Era's Chico Pinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ryota Miyagi in the 80th minute of play. Chico Pinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ryota Miyagi, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. The audience was convinced that Lucas Beltrán's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but George Forsyth was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Chico Pinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evtim Kúrdzhev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 86 minutes into the match, Nova Era's Lucas Beltrán sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that George Forsyth narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 87 minutes had been played when some careless play by CD Municipal's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Guaberto Rocio was slow to take the kick. During this time Nova Era's players had a chance to rest. 88 minutes into the match, Nova Era's goal looked a bit too open when Oalo Dean came free, but Chico Pinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Remigiusz Labus's late challenge caught a CD Municipal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Remigiusz Labus helped the player get up and apologised. After 89 played minutes Nova Era got a freekick which was hit by Remigiusz Labus. After 90 minutes of play, CD Municipal's Oalo Dean made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Chico Pinho was left in no man's land by his defense there! It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. CD Municipal had played much better football throughout.
