Henry Ekman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luís Artime in the 77th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Flodde CFC's zone, Ruperto Sedeni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. After 93 played minutes Esparta FC got a freekick which was hit by Grigoris Ntountas. The Esparta FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Esparta FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
