Spectators: 143 (Terracing: 108, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Robustiano Olate got the match started through his kick off. Marian Topolski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luiz Eduardo Cardozo in the 2nd minute. Franco Pascual made in the 4th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Matteo Sances. Ricardinho Batista charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ricardinho Batista the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ricardinho Batista kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Radomir Mleczewski took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edinho Lira. Edinho Lira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matteo Sances in the 18th minute of play forced INTER FC's goalkeeper Edinho Lira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marian Topolski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luiz Eduardo Cardozo's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. After 26 played minutes C.D. y S. Hijos del Sol got a freekick which was hit by Franco Pascual. Edinho Lira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matteo Sances, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. A collision led to INTER FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Emerson Cruz hit a great ball. INTER FC's Edinho Lira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robustiano Olate in the 35th minute of play. In the 43rd minute Robustiano Olate shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edinho Lira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute, Radomir Mleczewski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edinho Lira was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After the first half C.D. y S. Hijos del Sol were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Luiz Eduardo Cardozo made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Franco Pascual hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 58th minute, Hortêncio Ortiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 60 played minutes C.D. y S. Hijos del Sol got a freekick which was hit by Hermelando Peebles. In the 61st minute Luiz Eduardo Cardozo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marian Topolski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luiz Eduardo Cardozo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. C.D. y S. Hijos del Sol's Mark Paez was substituted for Vincente Ducoing. C.D. y S. Hijos del Sol's Archibaldo Mundaca was substituted for Robustiano Olate. INTER FC's Luís Ferreira was substituted for Emerson Cruz. 77 minutes into the match, C.D. y S. Hijos del Sol's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Eduardo Cardozo came free, but Marian Topolski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 79 played minutes INTER FC got a freekick which was hit by Hortêncio Ortiz. In the 81st minute Luiz Eduardo Cardozo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marian Topolski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Luiz Eduardo Cardozo came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the INTER FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luiz Eduardo Cardozo couldn't finish the play. When Luiz Eduardo Cardozo came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the INTER FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luiz Eduardo Cardozo couldn't finish the play. The INTER FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. C.D. y S. Hijos del Sol were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
