Kültepe Spor Kulübü's Tuna Karal got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 7 minutes into the match, Fenrir BK's goal looked a bit too open when Tuna Karal came free, but Jan-Åke Isaksson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 0-2 became the score in the 14th minute when Tuna Karal elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Tuna Karal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fenrir BK's goalkeeper Jan-Åke Isaksson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jan-Åke Isaksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tuna Karal in the 22nd minute of play. Tuna Karal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jan-Åke Isaksson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tuna Karal in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jan-Åke Isaksson saved Fenrir BK from getting behind. 29 minutes into the match, Tuna Karal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jan-Åke Isaksson. Fenrir BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tuna Karal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 33 minutes into the game, Kültepe Spor Kulübü's Tuna Karal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jan-Åke Isaksson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. In the 40th minute, Sean McNally ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jan-Åke Isaksson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. The Kültepe Spor Kulübü fans' excitement grew in the 45th match minute when Kültepe Spor Kulübü's Tuna Karal looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-7 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-7.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tuna Karal was the one to do the kick off. Kültepe Spor Kulübü's attentive Ahmet Kadri Ucatekin managed to snatch the ball when Kjell Lind made a throw-in in the 51st minute of the game. 55 minutes into the match, Fenrir BK's goal looked a bit too open when Tuna Karal came free, but Jan-Åke Isaksson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Tuna Karal dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jan-Åke Isaksson, 0-8. Tiburcio Muxica came free in the 61st minute and tried to tip the ball over Jan-Åke Isaksson, but to the joy of Fenrir BK's supporters the ball went over. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Tuna Karal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kültepe Spor Kulübü's supporters rose to their feet, but Tuna Karal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan-Åke Isaksson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tuna Karal might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jan-Åke Isaksson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tuna Karal ran back to his position shaking his head. Tuna Karal struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Jan-Åke Isaksson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kültepe Spor Kulübü. Jan-Åke Isaksson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tuna Karal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute of the match, Tuna Karal tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jan-Åke Isaksson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Tuna Karal might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jan-Åke Isaksson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tuna Karal ran back to his position shaking his head. Jan-Åke Isaksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tuna Karal in the 84th minute of play. Ahmet Kadri Ucatekin kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. The Fenrir BK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Kültepe Spor Kulübü were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
