Szczakowianka were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Kalessin's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Wladyslaw Magdziarz took the corner. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Leo Eguzki put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Alejandro Jerano. After having played for 23 minutes, Wladyslaw Magdziarz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Szczakowianka's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wladyslaw Magdziarz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Szczakowianka's Zula Kosiorek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Szczakowianka from getting a goal against them. Wladyslaw Magdziarz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alejandro Jerano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. After 28 played minutes Szczakowianka got a freekick which was hit by Gitano Adán. Arsenio Urdin shot from long distance in the 29th minute, but Zula Kosiorek was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. 31 minutes into the match, Szczakowianka's goalkeeper Zula Kosiorek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zhao Xiong Han. Alejandro Jerano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wladyslaw Magdziarz in the 33rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Kalessin defense, Wladyslaw Magdziarz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alejandro Jerano. The Kalessin fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alejandro Jerano should have stopped the shot. Szczakowianka's Zula Kosiorek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Romeo in the 36th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Szczakowianka's Donald Voldfrom sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alejandro Jerano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 44th match minute, Kalessin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casimiro Pasqual to maneuver through the defense. Wladyslaw Magdziarz struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Alejandro Jerano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Szczakowianka. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bernardo Romeo to make the kick off. Alejandro Jerano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benedykt Perkowski went, in the 50th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. If Zhao Xiong Han had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kalessin's Severo Etxekopar was substituted for Omar Goizeder. Alejandro Jerano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Eguzki in the 58th minute of play. Benedykt Perkowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Alejandro Jerano made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benedykt Perkowski got free with Alejandro Jerano in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zhao Xiong Han in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zula Kosiorek saved Szczakowianka from getting behind. Alejandro Jerano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedykt Perkowski in the 71st minute of the match. The supporters of Szczakowianka booed when Kalessin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Casimiro Pasqual didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alejandro Jerano was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Benedykt Perkowski showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 76 minute of play. Alejandro Jerano was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Donald Tusk. In the 93rd minute, Benedykt Perkowski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alejandro Jerano was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. The Szczakowianka supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Szczakowianka would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
