Henri Verhille charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Henri Verhille the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Henri Verhille kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Team Reunion974's zone, Alan Varela stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hassan Laisney came out of the goal and Alan Varela tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hassan Laisney showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Palacio in the 14th minute of the match. Silvestre Cisco received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hassan Laisney came out and tried to block the shot, but Silvestre Cisco slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 19th minute. In the 23rd minute Henri Verhille shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agustín Rossi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joël Malbec sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th match minute, Team Reunion974 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jean-Sébastien Marques to maneuver through the defense. Hassan Laisney showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvestre Cisco in the 29th minute of the match. Frontera AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Silvestre Cisco in the 30th minute. The corner ended in Silvestre Cisco almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Team Reunion974's Hassan Laisney did a great save. Hassan Laisney made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Silvestre Cisco sent off a good shot on target. 34 minutes into the match, Rodrigo Palacio notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Team Reunion974's Hassan Laisney. Hassan Laisney was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hassan Laisney made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvestre Cisco in the 42nd minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Frontera AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Joël Malbec came free, but Agustín Rossi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Team Reunion974 defense, Naohiro Takahara kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hassan Laisney. The Team Reunion974 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hassan Laisney should have stopped the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Silvestre Cisco to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Silvestre Cisco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hassan Laisney saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hassan Laisney didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Frontera AFC. Rodrigo Palacio took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hassan Laisney. Hassan Laisney dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Hassan Laisney made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Palacio in the 77th minute of play. Vincent Belly hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Agustín Rossi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sofyane Grenard, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 93rd match minute, Team Reunion974 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Titouan Doare to maneuver through the defense. When Marcos Rojo fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Frontera AFC's protests and gave Marcos Rojo a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Frontera AFC's Marcos Rojo got a free kick in the 95th minute. Frontera AFC's Agustín Rossi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vincent Belly in the 96th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henri Verhille in the 97th minute of play forced Frontera AFC's goalkeeper Agustín Rossi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Team Reunion974 players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Frontera AFC.
