When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Thomas Grandison took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Tor Holm to make any attempt to save it. In the 10th minute Jasper Gerseke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlton Convine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 21 minutes of play, Hisingstads BK's Martin Palmquist made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carlton Convine was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jasper Gerseke's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlton Convine read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. With a little luck, Hisingstads BK's Tor Holm got control of the ball when Thomas Grandison tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 31st minute, Thomas Grandison got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tor Holm made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mete Golob in the 34th minute. Hisingstads BK's Tor Holm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael van der Vaart in the 38th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Hisingstads BK's goalkeeper Tor Holm had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mete Golob. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rafael van der Vaart in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tor Holm saved Hisingstads BK from getting behind. 40 minutes into the match, Glasston's goal looked a bit too open when Anders Kruse came free, but Carlton Convine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hisingstads BK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Charlie Kämpe in the 42nd minute. The supporters of Glasston booed when Hisingstads BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bulut Bulutelli didn't get a good kick on the ball. 45 minutes into the game, Glasston's Rafael van der Vaart nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tor Holm made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rafael van der Vaart to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Hisingstads BK getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Martin Palmquist hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Mete Golob's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tor Holm was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Hisingstads BK's Bulut Bulutelli got a free kick in the 54th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Martin Palmquist got free with Carlton Convine in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Hisingstads BK booed when Glasston was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bengt-Rune Rolfsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tor Holm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael van der Vaart, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
